The new union at Virginia Commonwealth University aims to organize not only to secure better wages and conditions for campus workers, but to ensure the university is more accountable to the majority BIPOC community of Richmond. Here, Richmond Public Schools senior Lux Aghomo addresses the union’s April 26 rally, demanding more inclusive admissions policies.
